Love is totally in the air in Special Collections, and we want to share the good vibes with all our friends. What better way than with a fun evening of love tarot readings, a Victorian DIY valentine card station, and a display of 19th century valentine greetings to inspire you?

Join us on Wednesday, February 12th from 6pm-8pm in the Special Collections Collections Reading Room (M-level, Brody Learning Commons) for Love in the Time of Tarot! See what the cards have to say about your romantic prospects and then triumphantly or perhaps woefully create a valentine for your one true love, your favorite dog (hello Archie, the Laird of Baltimore!), your best friend, or why not yourself? You are great! You deserve an eccentric valentine card featuring a peacock feather-wielding cat haughtily standing atop a top hat! Let’s not consider how the cat obtained the feather . . .

Due to popular demand, we will have five tarot reading stations. So, if you don’t like one interpretation of your romantic prospects, you can obtain five different perspectives, thus creating your own tarot multiverse of love. That’s one way to keep Cupid on their toes!
