Boy, it seems to be getting harder and harder to cross or walk along Charles Street. A trip to Subway, Chipotle, or the School of Education takes some planning.
Don’t worry! This will all be over…in a year. That’s right – Summer 2014. You can find more information about the project at the Charles Street Reconstruction website.
They’ve got:
- traffic pattern changes (includes pedestrian traffic)
- transit bus diversion maps
- before and after video
But it’s worth it! We’ll have a safer and nicer looking Charles St. It will certainly improve the view from the Beach. And the view of MSEL.
