Want help managing your PDF articles or collaborating with other researchers online? If so, the online tool called Mendeley may be for you. You’re invited to join us, Wednesday, March 16 from 10 am-11 am, when the cofounder and CEO of Mendeley Jan Reichelt will share tips and tricks on how to use it most effectively. Some additional features of Mendeley include:

  • Automatically generating bibliographies
  • Easily importing papers from other research software
  • Finding relevant papers based on what you’re reading
  • Accessing your papers from anywhere online.

There is a second session about how Mendeley might work with institutional Repositories (IR) that begins at 11 am. Mendeley currently has a JISC-funded research project together with Sympletic and the University of Cambridge. The aim of this project is to increase deposit rates at Institutional Repositories via Mendeley, since many users already store and manage their publications in Mendeley.

While this talk is geared for librarians & administrators, all are welcome to attend. Both sessions will be broadcast and recorded in Adobe Connect.
