How can you find a review? Start with the library’s databases for Film and Media Studies or newspapers to obtain reviews and commentaries on particular films, performances, or directors.
Viewing or Borrowing Films
Interested in viewing some of the Oscar-winning films or films of Oscar winners and nominees that are in the library’s collection? Search in the JHU Libraries Catalog to find a particular movie or to browse the collection of DVDs and video-recordings. Here are some selected films for a keyword search on “Academy Award” as one approach!
Browse the McNaughton DVD collection in the Milton S. Eisenhower Library’s lobby on M-level for popular, recent films. More McNaughton titles are listed in the JHU Libraries Catalog. Click on the blue request button within the DVD record to request that these circulating films be held for you or delivered to your campus library! The one week loan period begins when you pick it up. You can renew the film once through your borrower account online.
