What if everyone in Maryland read the same book at the same time?

Each year the Maryland Humanities Council hosts One Maryland One Book. This year’s book is Outcasts United by Warren St. John, a story about a soccer team of refugee boys in a small town in Georgia.

Throughout September and October there are events all around Maryland such as book discussions, author appearances, and more!

Two events nearby worth noting:

  • September 26th at 12:00 the author will be speaking at the Baltimore Book Festival
  • October 11th from 12-1, the Sheridan Libraries’ Diversity Committee will be holding a brownbag book discussion in the Hamburger room of the MSE Library. All are welcome to attend!
