Last Friday was the start of fall. That means cooler weather is coming. It also means you need to start working on those long-term papers, projects, and presentations. This week MSEL librarians offer two more workshops to help you work more efficiently. Both workshops are in the M Level Electronic Resource Center on Wednesday, Sept. 28th. Please use the links below to register.
At 2:00, librarians will discuss Citation and Organization Tools. RefWorks, Mendeley, Zotero, and Papers will be the focus of our compare/contrast discussion. Bring your questions! This is more about differentiating between these tools than learning how to use them. We hope to help you decide which tool you want to use for your academic research.
At 4:30, librarians will discuss two of our larger databases, Scopus and Web of Science. These databases index a broad range of journals and conference proceedings, track citations to articles, and calculate scholarly metrics. Again – bring your questions!
Workshops continue further into fall. See the whole list here!
