To returning students and faculty, welcome back!  To new students and faculty, welcome to JHU and the Sheridan Libraries!  Library hours for the fall semester begin Thursday, September 6 and are as follows:

Monday through Thursday  7:30 am to 3 am
Friday 7:30 am to midnight
Saturday 8 am to midnight
Sunday 10 am to 3 am

Please note that A Level closes at midnight Monday through Thursday, closes at 10 pm Friday and Saturday, and closes at midnight Sunday.

The HUT will reopen at 8:30 am on Monday, September 10.  This is the last year the HUT will be open as Gilman Hall closes for renovation in June 2008.  Please enjoy this beautiful study space while you can!

    Currently, plans are that Gilman Hall will be closed from 2008 to 2010 and you can read about the renovation in this April issue of the Gazette. The HUT’s wonderful features (high ceilings, stained glass windows) will be preserved with the much needed addition of regulated air.

    This is a frequently asked question! Carrel lockers are assigned to grad students by their academic departments and then the library’s Support Services department provides the key. Please see this page for that information and ask your department’s administrator if you can get a locker. Good luck!
