To help promote Open Access Week, we have Open Access t-shirts. They’re bright, they’re cotton, and they let you show the world you think research should be freely accessible to all.

The first 10 people to submit a (true) story about Open Access will receive a t-shirt. Stories can be about:

  • how an Open Access article helped you in your research.
  • why you decided to publish in an Open Access journal.
  • why you edit or review for an Open Access journal.
  • how other researchers were able to find your article because it was Open Access.

Submit your stories to scg@hydra.welch.jhu.edu. We’ll post them on our Scholarly Communication website. Please tell us if you want us to use your name, or post the story anonymously. We will also have librarians at a table on the Breezeway in the middle of the day Tuesday, Oct. 19th and at a table on Q level of MSEL in the middle of the day Wednesday, Oct. 20th. Stop by and say hello!
