Join the Department of History, the Center for Africana Studies, and the Center for Educational Resources of the Sheridan Libraries on Monday, April 12, at 1 p.m. for a presentation by Trevor Griffey, co-founder of the Seattle Civil Rights and Labor History Project. Griffey, an historian at the University of Washington, is the project coordinator of an online public history archive chronicling the civil rights and labor history of the greater Seattle area.

The archive contains everything from photos and flyers to oral histories and news articles and is being used by students and scholars from elementary schools to universities.

The event takes place in the Sherwood Room in Levering Hall, and admission is free. Please RSVP to Cheryl Wagner at cwagner@jhu.edu or 410.516.7181.
