If so, you don’t want to miss this upcoming workshop on China and U.S. data and GIS. Dr. Shuming Bao, director of China Data Center at the University of Michigan, will be here at MSE Library to teach about spatial study of economy and health with China and US data. His talks will cover available data sources, methodologies and functions for identifying the changing structures of socioeconomic and health industries in the U.S. and China in terms of time and space, as well as some potential research agenda.  Plus, you will get FREE lunch and refreshments, courtesy of MSE Library and Hopkins Population Center.
