The Friends of the Libraries invite you to an evening of weird science with New York Times bestselling author Sam Kean, who will read from his new book The Disappearing Spoon.

Kean is a correspondent for Science magazine, and his stories have appeared in The New York Times Magazine, Mental Floss, Slate, Smithsonian Air & Space, and New Scientist. He has also appeared on NPR's "All Things Considered" and "On Point."
