Do your students need help creating visual presentations for class?  Would you like to redesign your research lab or departmental website? The library is exploring if faculty, students, and staff are interested in making Lynda.com‘s Online Training Library a campus wide resource.

Laurie Burruss, Sr Director of Education, will give an overview of Lynda.com’s content curation and scope, academic research, teaching methodologies, and state-of-the-art tutorials on accessibility, usability, meta tagging, time code enhanced search-ability, player preferences, customization, and publishing to a variety of form factors from laptop to tablet to cellphones. Please come, learn, and give us feedback about how these resources could help you.

The event will be held in Electronic Resource Center on M level of MSEL on Thursday, Feb. 17th from 12:30 – 2:00.

  1. This would be an excellent resource! Lynda.com is a great tool. I would certainly benefit from it and I know others would too.
