The 2009 Journal Citation Reports (JCR) became available in June.  The JCR provides measures of a journal’s impact on an area of research. They provide many such measures, including impact factor, immediacy index, and citing half-life. The JCR also includes two newer measures: the Eigenfactor Score and Article Influence Score.

Learn more about journals measures, what they can (and can’t measure), and the many different ways to find them by perusing our Scholarly Metrics guide.
