Gilchrist HallAs summer is in full swing, the Montgomery Library Resource Center will observe summer hours through Labor Day. In short, the Libraries’ Rockville, MD location will be closing one hour earlier on weeknights and opening one hour later on Saturday.

July 1-August 31
Monday through Thursday: Noon – 8 p.m.
Friday: Noon – 5 p.m.
Saturday: 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

  1. I had no idea there was a library in Rockville. Can I check out the same books from there as from MSE? I take classes at Homewood, but live in DC, and it would be more convenient for me to just stop by Rockville.

    Thanks for writing. Yes, you can check out the vast majority of the books shelved at MSE in Rockville!

    To have a book sent to Rockville, click on the blue ‘request’ button in the Libraries’ catalog. Choose “Montgomery Library Resource Center” to have the book delivered by weekday courier. The typical turn-around time for books that are available on the shelf at MSE is 48 hours, excluding weekends.
