This collection makes available online more than 500,000 pages of books, serials, manuscripts, pamphlets, and other materials that offer historical perspectives on diseases and epidemics.

A handful of disease epidemics are highlighted on resource pages that combine historical information, links to digitized resources, and bibliographies. To start with, see the page on the 1793 Yellow Fever Epidemic in Philadelphia. To dig deeper, you can browse the collection by genre, such as broadsides or images. You may also search the catalog, fulltext, and website of the collection to find sources and guides on your topic.
